Como se diz: pen drive em inglês? As opções mais frequentes são “MEMORY STICK”, “FLASH DRIVE” ou “USB DRIVE” e “THUM DRIVE”. Chamar um USB drive de pen drive, equivale a chamar de BOMBRIL todas as palhas de aço. Pen drive é um formato específico em forma de caneta.

"Invencionices" brasileiras

Em geral eu travo pra dizer "pen drive" nas lojinhas de hardware.. porque se eu digo "memory stick" os especialistas me corrigem, riem... porém a expressão "pen drive" remonta ao tempo das memórias em forma de canetas, ou até a própria caneta com memória flash, mas a expressão "pen drive" é questionável. Existem americanos no Brasil usando "pen drive", porém lembremos que assim como nem todos os brasileiros conhecem português, muitos americanos não sabem inglês. Os nomes usados são:

- MEMORY STICK

- FLASH DRIVE

- USB DRIVE

- THUMB DRIVE

É.. eu travo.. com essas invenciones a moda Odorico Paraguassú.. assim como travo com: "shopping center", "lan house" (essa dói!) "Rebuk" (ai minha canela!). Enfim.. vamos parar a corrente do falso saber. Se não sei, é melhor dizer não sei, vou pesquisar.. ou escrever em português!

Today is Saturday, a beautiful morning. I am at English class, writing on my notebook. My friends are happy, because we are learning a new language. Elizete and Sonia are with us.

I had a good breakfast this morning: bread and butter, milk, scrambed eggs, molasse and coffee. I like my English class, but I don´t like crowded subway.

This week was very good. I´ve worked a lot. I took the bus on time and got soon at work. My boss was so kind and gentle to me. My colleagues were very friendly, aswel.
