IDIOMATIC EXPRESSION

Getta go work.

Short Story

My mother was a very active woman, with 6 children to take care for. She used to go at church at least 2 times a week. My brothers and I went with her, usually. One day my brother Juraci was grounded, because he messed up, like always, so he should stay at home. But when my mother and us crossed a creek, we saw Juraci at the other side. He looked very scared, once he thought was lost. My mother got so scared, because he was only 8 years old, and should be at home. Then he explained to us: I runned so fast after you mom. I´m sorry, but I don´t wanna stay home. We didn´t have TV about that time, or he would never left the house. Mom had no choice, but take him with us. We laugh a lot remembering this and other Juraci´s stories. He was the most naughty boy we have ever seen.
